Author: Amy I am a huge fan of the KEEN Newport H2s. We have owned three pairs and will soon be buying a 4th pair. The velcro allows my son to put the shoes on by himself. He wears them in the water, but they do take a bit of time to dry out. The shoes are supportive and hold up well. They hold up so well, that even my daughter is wearing his old pair. She has wider feet and they were a little more difficult to fit last year, but now that her feet have slimmed down, they fit nicely. I like that they are a sandal, but they are rugged enough for outdoor play.

He is usually running around constantly and we wanted something cool for the summer, but protection from tripping and good support. I love the toe protection and waterproof features. This is one shoe that I put away looking barely worn--I am amazed because he wore them daily for months!
