Author: jendaisy I ordered these in preparation for summer; since my little guy turned 18 months in late April. These shoes were HUGE; I didn't even think he would fit into them by the end of summer. The toes purposely turn up to help with tripping, but in this sandal it just seemed a little weird. The velcro straps were also skinny and a little hard (I thought) to secure well because they were long, so all in all, I was happy to return them and find something else. I have also reviewed the RileyRoos sportie tiger and absolutely love them. Enjoy!
Author: jonas'mama I will admit, these shoes are absolutely adorable, I was so excited to get them. However, a few very important notes...they run VERY big, so order a size smaller than your toddler wears & be prepared for them to completely fall apart within 2 months! My son, a walker, completely wore out the sole, the straps stopped velcroing & a hole wore through by his toe...not bc they were too small, bc they are so poorly made. I would not recommend these shoes at all & am now hesitant to try another paor from Rileyroo. I ended up having to buy another pair of summer shoes for my son, so next time I would rather pay more & buy a more impressionable brand like Keen.
