The bottoms are awesome for when your toddler starts running because they don't slip. FYI... Tiny Soles is the best place to buy kids' shoes... they have great customer service, a huge selection of products/styles, and when we ordered the wrong size in this particular shoe (everyone says they run big so I ordered them a bit too small... oops! :)) the exchange was so fast and easy!
