Designed to imitate barefoot walking, Rileyroos have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect little feet. The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking.

They are very well made and super flexible, not to mention adorable and come in great colors! They are sized a bit big. I found that she wore the 6-12 month size closer to 11-approx 15 months and she has average sized feet.
