Author: Erika I love these shoes - they are real versatile (dress up or dress down) unfortunately my daughter is having the most difficult time walking in these. We own several pairs of See Kai Run shoes that she can walk just fine in but for whatever reason...these are a real problem.
Author: Tinamarie Saw these shoes at Nordstroms and tried them on my daughter. She could not walk in them, kept tripping. these shoes are bulkier in person and not as cute. Dont get these.
Author: heartopensky There is a problem in hindsight, I think, with sandals that do not come in half sizes. It is not noticeable with close-toe shoes, or even fisherman sandals, but with open-toe...
My daughter is a 5.5; 5 is too small and 6 is enormous - her toes do not extend beyond the front band. They look absurd.
This particular style is made for girls w/ chubby feet - there is a lot of room up front, and my daughter has narrow feet.
On the plus side: these shoes are super cushy, well made, and the straps are buttery soft. Ironically, while she walks like a duck in these (slap, slap, flat-footed), she doesn't complain that they are tight, and they are the only sandals we've tried so far that do not leave marks around the ankle.
If your child is a whole size with chubby feet, these will feel and fit like a dream.
Author: Kristen I ordered my daughter's normal size for See Kai Run and these were huge... so we went down a size. The new size fits but there's lots of extra space in the toe area. I think a child with a thick foot would love these.
Author: Nikki I agree with the other mommies -- these run a bit big. I thought it was a fluke that my daughter kept tripping in hers, but now I see she's not the only one! :) I think the fact that they were too big was why she was tripping, because now they fit her a lot better than at the start of the summer. My younger daughter has a pair, too -- she's not walking yet, so I can't say how she compares in that arena. But crawling in them, she is always pulling her toes out somehow, just on the right side. Weird. But overall, they are a very cute sandal and seem to be very comfortable on both my girls.
Author: Olga Tarasova (helg-t@mail.ru) I love this shoe!!!
They are very soft and tender of those that I have seen before. They repeat each movement of the foot of my restless daughter.
I will buy more and more shoes See Kai Run!

Author: Stephanie Alwyas love the SKR shoes. These were no exception. The only issue I found was that the velcro closure was really large and always had quite a bit of the end hanging over the edge of the shoe, so it got pretty ratty. However, they have been great otherwise.
Author: Francine The White Sandal that EVERY girl needs (AKA the LBD in our wardrobe)!!! After what seemed to be an endless search for the quintessential white sandal, I found Sara! I would say that this is the perfect sandal for the chubby feet of a pre-walker and new walker. The bendy sole helped transition my little girl from her Robeez slippers into her Pediped Flex. It's the perfect in-between! My only issue with this sandal was it's durability. I wouldn't recommend it for a rough and tumble toddler, because by the end of the summer it was pretty scratched & beaten up. Another thing to keep in mind, See Kai Run makes what I call a "Hippy Shoe", meaning natural, unrefined & quirky! If you want High Fashion & Refinement - think Pediped!
